
Why Is Drinking Water Important For Weight Loss?
Obviously I know that water is important for our bodies.. but does drinking lots of it actually aid weight loss?
being well hydrated means you are less likely to suffer from water retention which of course can add a few pounds.
The main reason drinking plenty can help weight loss - is that many hunger pangs are actually down to thirst. By the time you actually feel thirsty (dry mouth etc) you are already dehydrated! You get pangs similar to those of being hungry first. So by drinking plenty you will probably eat less as you are less likely to get these mistaken hunger pangs.
