Embroidered T-shirts
Many different articles of clothing can be the target of embroidery in fashion circles, but one that tends to get overlooked on a regular basis is the t-shirt. The main reason for this is that the majority of people that wear non-collared t-shirts are people that are looking to purchase them as cheaply as possible and for this reason embroidering tends to seem counterproductive to the people that manufacture and sell t-shirts. However, this is a critical mistake because there are a number of different advantages inherent to embroidered t-shirts that really make them an excellent purchase for the customer and an excellent investment for the creator.
Durability
The problem with cheap t-shirts is that they keep on breaking on a nearly constant basis and this in turn results in the person having to go out and purchase another one. What’s the use of buying a t-shirt for $5 if it’s just going to break a few months down the road and force you to buy another one? It would be much better to spend $20 on a t-shirt that you could use for life and the heavier material used both in the t-shirt’s base construction and the embroidering that happens on the t-shirt will actually create a piece of clothing that you can purchase and then use for life.
Clarity
Another problem with the typical cheap t-shirt that is available today is that whatever happens to be on the t-shirt can easily wash off. Cheap silk screening can be removed with a series of washes in the washing machine, meaning that after a year or so of owning a particular t-shirt you could find your beloved logo or saying (likely the reason that you purchased the shirt in the first place) partially removed from the surface of the t-shirt. This is one of the risks that people take when they purchase something cheaply, but with embroidering this is extremely unlikely to happen. Because the embroidery is locked together with the actual base construction of the t-shirt, water can not do anything to remove it. Your t-shirt’s image will remain clear and bright for as long as you own the t-shirt; definitely an advantage that you can only get with embroidered t-shirts.
Quality
Finally, the general quality of embroidered t-shirts is also going to be much greater than that of most of the other t-shirts on the market. The reason for this is that in order to create a stable embroidery, a base level of quality is required in the piece of clothing that you are going to work with. This base level of quality is non-negotiable and that means that every embroidered t-shirt that you purchase is going to have this level of quality whereas other t-shirts that you might purchase will not.
Conclusion
In almost every conceivably meaningful way, embroidered t-shirts are superior to their counterparts in the t-shirt industry. The one exception to this is price, but as the above paragraphs have illustrated over the long run embroidered t-shirts are actually going to save you money.

Run-D.M.C. took hardcore hip-hop from an underground street sensation to a pop-culture phenomenon! Beastie Boys Rock T-shirts
The Beastie Boys were the first white group to offer a successful send-up of rap.
